1. General Provisions 1.1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the Policy) governs the processing of personal data of natural persons carried out by MB "FOMOR", legal entity code 307642754, registered address Lithuania, Druskininkai, Liškiavos str. 7-18, LT-66281, email info@fomor.lt, phone +370 606 39912 (hereinafter – the Platform, we) in connection with the provision of services on the Platform. 1.2. We are committed to processing your personal data fairly and lawfully in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other applicable legal acts. 1.3. By creating an account, you agree to the processing of your personal data as described in this Policy. 2. Personal Data Processed 2.1. Upon creating an account, we store your first name, last name, email address, phone number, password (stored in encrypted form), educational institution, and field of study. We also store works you publish, comments, public messages, and emails you send to us. 2.2. When you visit the Platform, we collect information sent to us by your browser – so-called log data. This includes your IP address, browser version, pages visited, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, and other statistics. This data is collected through cookies – small text files saved to your device when you visit the Platform. We use the information obtained through cookies to monitor your usage habits and to improve the Platform. 3. Purposes of Processing 3.1. Your personal data is used only on the grounds provided for by law and for the purposes of analyzing overall platform traffic. 3.2. Your personal data is processed for the following purposes: • Account administration. Legal basis for processing – a contract with you. You enter into a contract with us when you agree to the Platform's Terms of Service and this Policy upon creating an account. • Analytical data. Legal basis for processing – your consent. You have the right to withhold consent, and if you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time by adjusting your cookie settings. • Handling of reports. Legal basis for processing – our legitimate interest in providing quality customer support. 3.3. We undertake never to disclose your personal data to any unrelated third parties, except to law enforcement authorities in accordance with the procedure provided for by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania or in cases where we obtain your consent for the disclosure of personal data. 4. Data Retention Periods 4.1. Personal data is stored and processed in accordance with the data protection requirements established by law. 4.2. We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve legitimate purposes and to the extent permitted by applicable law: • Account data is stored for as long as the account is active and for 24 months after its deletion; • Analytical data is retained for 6 months; • Messages in public chats are deleted after 1 month; • Published works are generally deleted along with the account. Content that was lawfully quoted or saved by other users prior to deletion may remain in their accounts. 5. Rights of Data Subjects 5.1. Your rights as a data subject: • You have the right to request access to your personal data that we process, and to request that it be corrected or deleted; • You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and may restrict the processing of your personal data; • You have the unconditional right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes; • If the processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent; • You have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (the right to data portability); • You may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority (the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI)). 5.2. Before lodging a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate, please first attempt to resolve the matter of concern to you directly with us. 5.3. These rights may be conditional or limited. Therefore, there is no guarantee that, for example, you will have the right to data portability or the right to request the erasure of data in a specific case – this depends on the specific circumstances of the processing activity. 5.4. A cookie is a small text file that stores information about your actions on the Platform. Cookies do not harm your device and allow us to offer a better user experience. 6.2. We use the following categories of cookies: • Technical (essential) cookies. These are installed automatically; without them, the Platform may not function properly. You may disable them in your browser settings, however this may affect certain features. • Analytical cookies. Used to collect usage statistics. Installed only upon obtaining your prior consent. 6.3. When you first visit the Platform, you will see a cookie consent notice at the bottom of the page. You can withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting the cookie settings on the Platform. 7. Changes to the Policy 7.1. We reserve the right to modify this Policy. We will notify you of any material changes via email and/or by posting a notice on the Platform no later than 30 calendar days before the changes take effect. 7.2. Upon making material changes, we will publish the current version of the Policy on the Platform and ask you to review it again.
